The Pectorals Majors primarily function is flextion, adduction and internal rotation of the humerus. The Pectorals minor is a thin layer just below the peck major. These two muscles not only help with the movement of your arms but attach to your rib cage helping your ribs expand when you take a deep breath to create room for your lungs.
